Good result in the Euros anyway!

I havent recieved an invite or info about the SDLP Youth Conference but would definetly like to go ofcourse. Send me on details via facebook.

Good to see the swedish conference in the mourne observer today! great to see stories like that in there, really is a great local paper.

Also good job on the Lough Money restocking and maintenance - tis such a beautiful spot out there and is unfortunately neglected. You aught to post some really local stuff like that on your blog to give abit of a local flavour in correlation with the international/national opinion.Mark McCormicknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242027486981297136.post-38793346906817266732009-08-25T16:30:44.167-07:002009-08-25T16:30:44.167-07:00Thanks Mark, it was a really great experience. It was great to meet representatives from Fatah Youth. Some of their personal stories were interesting but harrowing. They have been through alot there. They were nice people too and the international secretary was lovely! Thats her with me in my facebook profile pic. Fatah have also experienced similar problems as the sdlp. They too were once the major party of their community and had to make sacrafices for the greater good, like us. But Hamas, like SF, have overtook them and now hold a perenial grip on information and political power there. I know that the Swedish social democrats have a very good relationship with the swedish green party as the greens have been a part of their coalition during the previous few social democrat-led coalition governments. So will you be coming to our youth conference in September? Please do come, you'd be most welcome. Steven was the only one of you guys there last year so it would be nice if a few of you came.Barry Mageehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10413713477522676309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242027486981297136.post-73421832604783034202009-08-25T15:38:53.504-07:002009-08-25T15:38:53.504-07:00Very interesting Barry! They definetly seem to have their heads screwed on on the organisation side!

Must have been very interesting to meet with Fatah Youth! What sort of impression did you have of them?

Would this congress recieve any interest from the Nordic Green Alliance, or would the two organisations stay clear of one another?Mark McCormicknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242027486981297136.post-3439373932651152162009-08-24T19:56:45.264-07:002009-08-24T19:56:45.264-07:00Thanks Kasper, yes Sweden is such a lovely country...Thanks Kasper, yes Sweden is such a lovely country and the people there are so friendly too!
